Welcome to the Radford Charitable Trust
We provide grants for tuition, instrument purchase, ensemble and workshop fees as well as travel costs for attendance at college auditions or lessons.
We have a stock of good student instruments which we lend free of charge for up to three years.
Applications for grants and instruments can be made at any time. The majority of decisions on grant applications are made at the annual meeting of the Trustees in September.

Who We HelpApplicants must be resident in Cornwall. In the case of university and post-graduate students, residence up to the age of 18 is acceptable. Applications should preferably be made for specific needs. In general, grants are available to assist in the purchase of instruments and music, as a contribution towards the cost of tutition and travel, and for study courses.
